jazzman vs. J rocc

probably everyone will learn a little something from this release.

11 minute sampler for your ears

today I'm gonna go sky high off their Lloyd Miller compilation -

oud&santur

((( ^^^^ a mind blowing performance from multi instrumentalist Dr. Lloyd Miller & Iranian musician Azar Hashemi. Taken from Dr. Lloyd's show on Iranian TV in the 1960's. )))

The new jazzman release should go someway to awnsering some of my questions about the dr. and his apparent fascination with Persian and Middle Eastern culture. I really wish, and have been for a while, that he oneday documents some of his experiences in writing -

but naturally, i remain more than thankful for the chance to be exposed to the music.

the grainy videos on youtube have been a frequent stop over while flicking through the web over the last year.

be good just to watch the vinyl spinning. .

plenty more details over at Jazzman Records - first 50 orders are also getting a dvd of his various performances on Iranian TV over the years.

Gole Gandom

the video repeats itself. But still it serves the purpose of putting your attention onto the new Jazzman/Now Again Records collaboration....The compilation 'Spiritual Jazz: Esoteric, Modal and Deep Jazz from the underground 1968-1977'. . .

More news here. But it's out today. . . ! Get A real education.
