'Who Knows about grime?' .......... Hardly the same crowd your gunna get down at dirty canvas is it?

I love the simplicity, the energy, the outfits... I love everything about this.

As usuaaaal hyperfranks got the audio.

Month In Grime/Dubstep

Another brillliant round-up of the month.

Need to check the Riko.. and toying with the idea of checking the ghetto tape - i just dont know whether I like his sound. Is he just agressive for the sake of it? We shall see, its getting good reviews so there must be something nice there & he has a nice production team behind him - lewi white and smasher.

Get on the trim though. .

Also, later on il stick up the chipmunk freestyle on the movado track (on the rock). The one jay vocalled. . Definitely both versions are hot.

more sooon... maybe a lunchbreak thing for the next 5 days. Can't wait to get back withyou.

Midweek Fours

Another bunch for you all. Potentially do another one at the end of the week. . Get @ your links quick. Yousendit agaaain.

Mp3: Snoop Dogg - Press Play
---- Think its his ninth album. . . Its no classic, but there is always one or two things to provide some interest. With Kurupt and a nice Isley Brothers sample, this is one of them.

MP3:Chipmunk - Welcome To 2008 Freestyle (1xtra)
---- Again proving himself to be a cut above the rest. . Highly anticipated, highly hated. Sure got a head on him. .

MP3: Artful Dodger - Woman Trouble
---- Uk G throwback.

MP3: Slum Village - Players (Instrumental)
---- Dilla. From Fantastic Vol. 1. . The sample is 'Claire' not 'Players'. One for alll y'all factfiles. The vocalled version is of course nice too. Reaad background.

MP3: Adele - Chasing Pavements (Various Productions Remix)
---- Head over to VP's myspace for another remix of the track. . Definitely on form at the moment. So goooood.

Chimpunk with Mary Anne Hobbs

He sure is doing the rounds, appearances with Logan, Westwood and Mary all in the space of one week. So far he is yet to disappoint. . . There is an album on the way. . New tracks were promo'd on Mary Anne and logans shows this week. The link to listen to the former is here. You've got until Tuesday night.

Here is a radio rip of the 'Who Are You' Remix. . ft. Griminal, Ice Kid, Double S & Maverick. . Basically Grimes new school.

MP3: Chipmunk - Who Are You Remix (Ft. Icekid, Griminal, Double S & Maverick)

Support the scene and grab a cdq copy of this, or the original, or any thing else that takes your fancy.. off of itunes. .

Theres a strong chance that I'l put the Logan Sama Video by the end of the evening, if there is any new material.

Am I that Good, or are they that Bad..

Hyped for a reason I think. . Chipmunk with an acapella for Westwood. Saves us all having to hear the top 3 selected beat yet again, however good it is.

Maybe some truth...

in the belief that Chipmunk will be the next big grime thing. I know i've probably posted this before.. but the more i listen to this 'yute', the more I like.

Surely will be big in '08. I hope so anyway.

Video for latest mixtape joint/single ... whatever.. is below.

Get @ the myspace.
