Flying Lotus - Los Angeles came out on Monday. I'm not one to get on the hypetrain (ha) but its that good.

Flylo's album is boring to put it softly, and worse off, it's 4 years late, because "sound in color" was doing that in 2003! Listen to something from GB. Certainly it wasn't as "spacey" but there isn't enough space in that album to take it away from the whole "downtempo/futuresoul" theme. Further, that whole offbeat drum pattern which "dilla" did (but never to the point where he lost the groove) and "exile" perfected, is also not his style. Can I also mention this
WHO GIVES A FUCK THAT HE'S ALIVE COLTRANE'S FUCKIN NEPHEW... DOES THIS GIVE HIM SOME TYPE OF EDGE? IT CERTAINLY CANT IF HE'S USING A GODDAMN LAPTOP!
