KAWS is an NY based artist most people know but just don't know that they do. This is the guy behind numerous magazine covers, BAPE adverts, and the artwork for The Clipse's latest offering - Till The Casket Drops.
A while back I came across this video highlighting the man, his work, and the streets. Street Art.
