Smile (I'm Leaving)

MP3: 50 Cent - Smile (I'm Leaving) (Prod. Kanye West)

Still waiting on that billion dollar remix.. supposedly dropping today.

50 checks out Beyonce..

It's all there from 50's eyebrow raise to kanyes innocent, almost intellectual head tilt.

And heres what kanye thought of being overlooked at the VMA's, fairplay to him...

"I'm King Kong. Kanye is human. Humans run when they see King Kong..."

I don't know if any of you are taking this whole feud thing seriously, I'm not.. but it sure as hell is entertaining. .

For those of you short of sight, from left to right, (on the same stage).. diddy, T.I, Kanye, JayZ and 50, throwing a roc sign..! Wish it was always like this, how hiphop should be. Hopefully they all come together and dick on camron.

Part Time Lover

Above, Follow My Lead video... Quite like it in that bubblegum way.

Comedy value of this almost comes close to cam'Rons Curtis track from a while back. Wayne diss.
Off g-unit radio 25.. coming soon. Can't believe they still putting them out

Read up on 50's new feuds here, he cracking?

Kanye Delayed, 50 talks big

This isn't the real cover art despite what Amazon may say, apparently it's pre-cover art..
But the main gist of this is.. Graduation has now dropped back to meet 50 Cent's release date of September 11th. The reason for this; "extra time for promotion"... Well, 50's talking rubbish about it as per usual.. there's history between the two, mainly on his side, however its all pretty pathetic. I just want the album.
sohh.com have more..

To keep up with the release dates of the next few months.. Go here.. and let me know if i've missed anything via the comments..

She Wants It

50 calls in Timbo and JT for this track off Curtis. . Killer synth provided by you know who, however I can't help thinking that these three had the potential to come up with something a little bit better. . It'l most likely do well in the charts regardless.. Still waiting for the Robin Thicke collaboration - that one really is good.

Other 50 news; rumoured to have enlisted Jeezy on a new tune for Curtis... and it seems he's waging war on the rest of the failing G-Unit camp, despite plans for a new album, he's cut financial support he was previously supplying after shedding out nearly 8.5 million dollars of his own money on them. . Lastly, theres the incident with "hypeman" HotRod, who he recently removed from the stage due to HotRod's apparent lack of knowledge regarding 50's lyrics.
Why HotRod has a career I do not know. .

Loose Ends

Bye Bye Thierry.

Kanye West video due to appear sometime soon, premier was just the other night, see the stills here.

Brand new track from Little Brother appeared yesterday. First track off what appears to be a new album, titled " Get Back". Production by Illmind. Get it here (direct link) from Jesuspiece.

Latest track from T.I's new album "T.I Vs. T.I.P" appeared with a guest spot from Jay-Z. People saying that he's going at wayne and Game on it. T.I. sounds pretty poor on it, and I only start to listen for Jay'z verse. I don't know whether the whole concept to the album with all this alter ego thing has gone to T.I's head so much that he's neglecting the rapping duties. We'l see. Get the track here..

Mp3: T.I - Watch What You Say (Ft. Jay-Z) (Thanks To Nahright)

Best ive heard from Jay-Z in a lonnng time.

Live version of a new track from 50 Cent's new album has appeared from a concert the other week. Featuring Robin Thicke, it's kind of smooth. I'd put money on it being a huge hit for him. 50's also landed the part of a drug dealer in a new film "Righteous Kill" where he'l perform alongside veterans De Niro and Al Pacino. Will he hack it?

Straight To The Bank

Just spotted this on AllHipHop.com/Notes From A Different Kitchen...

Queens, NY rapper 50 Cent may have good reason to brag on his new single "Straight to the Bank." Glacéau, makers of vitaminwater, was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company today (May 25) for $4.1 billion dollars in cash [emphasis added]. 50 Cent invested in Glacéau in 2004 and owns 10% of the company [emphasis added]. Sources told AllHipHop.com that Coca-Cola's purchase of Glacéau earned the rapper an estimated $400 million dollars. Glacéau markets and sells popular energy drinks named vitaminwater. The company markets and distributes a grape flavored energy drink inspired by 50 Cent named "Formula 50." "This is an outstanding opportunity for both of our companies to build an expanded active lifestyle business, first in the United States and then around the world," said Muhtar Kent, president and chief operating officer of The Coca-Cola Company.

Not a bad bit of business you'l probably agree.. I wonder how Camron will respond..?

HipHop

HipHop got pretty boring for a period at the start of this year, but again its starting too look up. Albums dropping from Common, Talib Kweli, Kanye and even Jay-Z set to drop one late 07/early 08.. so i'm pretty excited. . That and Wiley/Dizzee combination over here. Those releases are just a few of whats coming this summer, but i won't bore you with a list.. Instead here are some of the tunes from some of the artists dropping albums this year... All New.

MP3: 50 Cent - Straight To The Bank (Produced Dr. Dre)

Not my favourite artist of all time i must admit, but at least you know what your getting with him. And yes, its the same. Polished production, usual rhymes. But its good for a while. Prefer it over another tune knocking around at the moment, candy shop take "Amusement Park". Album, "Curtis" is due on June 26th.

MP3: T Pain - Buy You A Drank (Ft. Kanye West) (Remix)
(Check Previous posts for new Kanye Material)

I get pretty excited about any new material from Kanye west.. here's a song by T-Pain.. i usually skip the rest of the track after Kanye's verse. You'll see why..
His new album, "Graduation", is set to be released September 18, 2007.. but expect that to be delayed. Supposedly featuring tracks with John Mayer, Chris Martin and Young Jeezy.

MP3: Common - The People (Ft Dwele) (Produced. Kanye West / Cuts from Dj Premier)

I could sit and listen (look) at him all day.. Album due July 17th.

Brand New Lupe;

Lupe Fiasco - Bottom, Top (Thanks To Discobelle)

Tuesday's Hip Hop Fix

Everyones favourite machoman 50 is back with his new lead off street single "Straight To The Bank". I kind of like it, but i dont really think its anything different to his old stuff, the production's still tight, and he still sounds the same. Produced by Dr. Dre and some other guy whose name escapes me. Should do pretty well nonetheless.

Mp3: 50 Cent - Straight to The Bank

And in a week, where ive enjoyed going back to a bit of hip-hop. . . I rather belatedly have discovered Kidz in the Hall (Produce Double O and MC Naledge). Sounding closest to Lupe Fiasco. possibly Kanye West, the guys are signed to Rawkus Records, and people, me included are expecting big things of them innnnn 07. Heres their flow over souls of mischief - 93 til infinity beat.

Mp3: Kidz in the Hall - Wheelz Fall Off (O6 Till)

I'm off to go grab the daft punk mix available on Masalacism.
