American Boy

Posting this, possibly the most productive thing I've done all day. . Estelle album will be in my shopping bag tomorow.

And Hello John Legend. His cameos always make me chuckle.

Fidget House wasn't it. . .

Sometime back in 07 I swore to myself that I wouldn't get sucked in by all this jacking house stuff. I stuck to it for a few months. Now sometime in 08, Sinden & Monte Cristal have got me back on it. The usual treatment with a bit more synth'sss than we're used too. Waiting on the estelle album too. . Her year.

MP3: Estelle - Wait A Minute (Just A touch) (Sinden & Count of Monte Cristal Remix)

I'm out. . got myself a stats exam tomorrow. .

Before he spoke, his suit bespoke

MP3: Estelle - American Boy (Ft. Kanye West)
Album drops in February.

Wait A Minute (Just A Touch)

After being at the Jazz Cafe on Sunday Night, and witnessing Estelle and her band perform this, I am ready to put my mortgage on 2008 being her year, both here, and in the states. This produced by Will.I.Am, with the rest of the album a who's who of producers at the moment. . Try and fix you with some audio from the gig in the next couple of days.

Electric Proms Starts Tomorrow

All starts tomorow. . The bbc will have coverage of it all, make sure you don't miss out.. Mark Ronson, the Soil & Pimp/Jamie Cullum collaboration, Ben Westbeech/Estelle/Durrty Goodz at the Jazz Cafe for me. As well as Kano of course. ELECTRIC PROMS.

Last year was good, this years set to be way betttter. I'l do my best to bring the best of it here.

Wrapping up of April..Pt. 2

Other stuff i've been enjoying, but haven't had the time to let you know about it.. in other words, my most played..

My stevie wonder track of the moment.."Another Star".

MP3: Stevie Wonder - Another Star

I love Buzzin Fly record label. This song is probably my favourite to come from them, off the 2005 release "Outspoken Part 1". It's by Ben Watt (half of Everything but The Girl), with guest vocals from Estelle. Keep checking the website for new releases, or catch up on what you've missed from the label at beatport. Its summertime house with soul...

MP3 - Ben Watt - Pop A Cap in Yo Ass (Ft. Estelle) (Edit) Highly Highly Recommended.

In case You missed me going on about it before, make sure you set aside a tenner to buy Wiley's new album "Playtime Is Over"... Out June 2nd. Promo track and track by track album review, here. Boy can that guy spit....

Total Science (See Post Coming), Matrix / Futurebound have both been big on my most played list this month, but as far as drum and bass goes.. the month belongs to a track i was passed a while ago but it just passed me by. The original, i must admit, isnt a favourite of mine, mainly because Ghostface's rapping voice doesn't sit with me, but for the summer, Ne-Yo's voice sits perfectly on the bed provided by DJ Marky&Bungle. Watch out for both of these two...

MP3: Ghostface Killah & Ne-Yo - Back Like Dat (DJ Marky & Bungle Remix)

As far as Drum and Bass goes, also check out Alix Perez.. for the soulful side... Should hear about him pretty soon from me. .

• Groove Armada - Paris (Off Album "Soundboy Rock")
• Mr Hudson & The Library - Ask The Dj (Off Album "A tale of Two Cities")
